Welcome to Alwyn Stables

Co-founded in 2022 by British show jumper Scott Diffey, Alwyn Stables is dedicated to sourcing and developing high-quality horses for the top levels of the sport.

Driven by a passion for both horses and riders, Scott works closely with amateur and professional athletes to help them reach their full potential.

Based in Ocala, Florida during the winter, we travel to premier competitions across the Northeast and Canada throughout the summer season, continuously seeking new opportunities for growth and success.

Scott Diffey

Scott Diffey is a British show jumping rider with a proven record in producing and competing top horses - from young to Grand Prix level, training top equestrian athletes, and managing stables up to the 5* level of competition.

Scott's passion for the equestrian sport sparked at age five. Since then, he's worked and trained alongside some of the most renowned sports competitors, including Olympic-level show jumpers Karsten Huck, Cian O'Connor, and Angelica Augustsson.

Scott dedicated nearly a decade to his learning and development as a rider in Germany and Belgium. He spent years helping to produce and develop many horses to the pinnacle of the sport. Here are just a few of the horses Scott has ridden and contributed to their development:

  • Luciano Van Het Geinsteinde CSI 5* Jos Verlooy

  • Macho V CSI 5* Kim Emmen

  • Maquinn van de Heffinck CSI 4* Leonie Peeters

  • Olympic V/H Russeltveld CSI 4* Thomas van Minnebruggen

  • Elixir de Hus CSI 4* Carolina Aresu Garcia Obregon

  • Origi van de Rostal CSI 3* Marjolaine Marraud Des Grottes

After experience as the Head Trainer and Rider for a client barn in the United States, Scott decided the time had come to open the doors to Alwyn Stables in 2022.

Alwyn Stables embodies Scott's commitment to producing leading results for horses and mentoring students to accomplish their goals.

The Alwyn Stables team specializes in a detailed, hands-on approach to caring for top-level competition horses, including collaborating with veterinarians and farriers, prioritizing the horse's well-being, and maximizing success.
